If you've never been to a wedding before, how are you supposed to know the appropriate etiquette? There are so many things you're supposed to know, things you do and things you don't do - but how is someone supposed to figure it out?
Even after having gone to tons of weddings, been a part of half as many weddings and read Martha Stewart Magazines cover-to-cover for the last three years, there are still things that I don't know.
So here are some resources for all of us. (I was reading through some of this stuff, though, and I don't agree with 100% of it...)

What's the "M" for?
It's pretty interesting how broad the spectrum is when it comes to knowing wedding invitation etiquette.
Take a look at this RSVP card, for example. (Not ours, just an example I found online.)

Seems pretty straightforward, but when my brother and Olivia sent out their invitations, I heard so many people asking, "What's the M for?"
The "M" is there for you to write "Mr., Mrs. or Ms." and then your name.
I've seen RSVP cards that said "Name(s): ______." To me, that feels too much like I'm making a worksheet for my students. I'm guessing that the pretty, script "M" became the RSVP standard because it's prettier!
