Bridesmaids

When I think about each of my bridesmaids, I realize that we're all in huge transitions right now! (Should captions go below the pictures or above? I always do it differently...)

Here's Sarah! We took this picture near my brother's apartment in Boston. It was windy. :) Sarah will most likely be on the west coast for most of the summer and has promised to be back in time for the wedding. But soon after that, the winds of change will take her clear across the globe! I'm so so glad that even through all of these transitions that she's committed to being with us for our special day! Thanks, Sarah!!

And say hello to Jenny, our maid of honor. We're showing you the beautiful Washington, DC cherry blossoms! Jenny is in the process of preparing to go back to school. I admire her ambition, generosity and loyalty, and I am 99.99% sure that she will make me cry at the wedding! :) In a good way! Hahaha...

And here is Olivia, bridesmaid and future sister! (Through my brother, not through Cyrus, haha!) We're sporting the Mrs. Kwon line - which consists solely of hand-knit winter accessories for the head and neck. I'm so grateful that Ollie and I will be in the same family, and that she'll be an important part of our wedding, too! She has so many layers of goodness in her, and she loves my brother very much. You're awesome, Ollie!!

Coming soon: the groomsmen!

Welcome to our new home

After a lot of thinking and waiting, we've decided to stay in Cyrus's current double-studio after we get married! OMG, I'm gonna be living in CAMBRIDGE! Who wouldda thunk?

Some pics!

Look at that cute "breakfast area"!
At first I was totally against the idea of staying here because it's not a very conventional "just married" apartment. I was thinking more one-bedroom-ish kinda thoughts. Cyrus was open to it, but when I shook my head and said, "No, no, no, no, no," he didn't really bring it up.

But [my] attitudes, rent costs and a lot of other things kinda fell into place, and now this will be our new home!

2009 is a big year for new leaders. Obama, Cyrus...

Congratulations to Cyrus, next year's executive editor for Harvard's Journal of Law and Technology!! He beat out three other worthy candidates. Cyrus will have quite a resume when he's through!
